This guy's actions were breathtakingly hypocritical. I read that apparently he finally responded to the mountains of criticism he received by releasing his hold on all but a few of the nominees. But it's unbelievable that the U.S. Senate even allows this kind of stuff to go on.<br><br>One correction to your story: Sen. Richard Shelby is from the state of Alabama.
